Plan your amusement park to make it worthwhile.
  • Avoid weekends, Japanese holidays and school breaks (Golden Week late Apr–early May, Obon mid-Aug, New Year) — the busiest times
  • Tuesday–Wednesday are usually the quietest days of the week
  • Buy tickets online in advance, and consider Premier Access / Express Pass to skip the queue for the popular rides
  • Arrive before opening (rope drop) and head straight for the popular rides first
  • Check opening hours and parade/show/event times in each park’s official app before you go
